It’s not going to be easy, but the Miami Dolphins enter today’s contest with one thing on their minds-a win.
Looking at both teams injury reports it seemed more than likely that the Dolphins had the upper hand and advantage of winning due to the idea that Bills running back LeSean McCoy would be listed as OUT and would not play. Then late afternoon on Friday, reports flooded Twitter and probably all of Dolphins Twitter, who was probably hurting from the catastrophe that has become the Miami Hurricanes college football season as another year will end without a national title.
Per ProFootballTalk.com and @Zesty_Bills
McCoy comes into this weekend’s contest, should he play with 587 yards rushing and 7 total touchdowns on the ground and air. McCoy last season torched the Miami Dolphins defense for a grand total of 112 yards on only 16 carries and one rather long TD of 48 yards.
However, this is 2016 and even though McCoy is having a phenomenal year, he is questionable for the game. He could play and it will come down to a game decision.
The temperature in Miami is scheduled to be 81 degrees at game time and the Dolphins will be wearing their throwback/ alternate jerseys.
What’s more, the Miami Dolphins defense had an impressive showing versus the Pittsburgh steelers and right now, if the team can carry over the intensity and “juice” as head coach Adam Gase likes to call it, there’s a chance that the Dolphins could win this game.
Vegas might have this game at -2.5 in favor of the Bills, but if LeSean McCoy plays the Bills well-oiled machine and under the radar Tyrod Taylor might have a strong chance to make this more of a route than Vegas thinks.
Here’s to the Dolphins finding a way to get a division win and move to 3-4 prior to the bye.
